I was already at Ohio State when the IcEdz love team was publicly announced. I was surprised. When I asked Edz to supply me with some softwares in a foreign land where piracy is severely punished, he obliged. I was surprised.

By saving some funds from other items, software money included, I finally got my first very expensive DSLR. While at this, I guess Edz and Ice do not have a very strong interest on portraits and photography so I am not really sure how a wedding coverage will weigh on their list. I tried not to impose. If at all I will be involved, I guess I will just be a volunteer or back-up photographer.

IcEdz is a couple who naturally attracts best wishes, even from casual spectators. Edz is a well-sought technician with an excellent work ethics. He has a default toothless smile for everyone that you wouldn’t even suspect he’s been overused and underpaid for all sorts of his generosity in many occasions. Ice has a natural congeniality who can easily navigate even a boisterous chatter in the corridor.

During our brief encounter with them at the prenuptial shoot, Edz and Ice are both keenly sensitive of the social dynamics around them. They are constantly on the lookout for whatever things that might be needed, or some things that they can do for others, like meals, vehicle, mouse, extension wire, or a hand on the lighting set up. The shoots in two sessions were both stressful because of the very complicated lighting but Ice survived them gracefully. As for Edz, it showed that he’s willing to go the extra mile out of love. Perhaps their major love languages are quality time and acts of service.

With the way their relationship has blossomed, it is certainly a privilege to be a small part of any significant chapter in their love story.
